Over recent months, the Toastrack and Magdalen Estate residents have suffered serious crimes…..burglaries, violence against women, muggings, car thefts, fly-tipping, drug-dealing and crash scams.
As your Councillors, we are asking the police to increase their visible presence here. Residents, who have a deepening sense of disquiet, have expressed a vital need for security improvements. We ask that the Council take urgent action.
We are requesting that CCTV cameras be installed at strategic locations. Previous use of a temporary CCTV camera by Trinity Road crossing, acted as a deterrent and solved problems there, only for it to be removed. Had this camera remained in place, a shocking local incident on 15th June might have been prevented.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. LET’S GET SOMETHING DONE ABOUT IT.

Wandsworth Common Conservative Councillors
We, the undersigned, ask Wandsworth Council to install CCTV cameras urgently, for the Toastrack, Wandsworth Common and the Magdalen Estate, to help protect our residents.
